Individual therapy
I work with people across the lifespan, from children and young people to adults and older adults, seeking support with emotional, psychological or health-related challenges. My training spans child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS), youth services, learning disabilities, and adult and older adult mental health. I have also specialised in neurological conditions and rehabilitation, including clinical health, such as adjusting to a physical health diagnosis. Sessions are a confidential, compassionate space to explore difficulties, build insight and work towards meaningful change.
My approach is integrative. I draw flexibly on evidence-based models and tailor them to each person’s needs, values and goals.
Working with families
Support is also available for families who are navigating challenges together, whether linked to a health condition, a major life transition, or emotional or relational difficulties. Sessions can involve one or more family members and aim to improve understanding, communication and wellbeing within the family. The work is flexible and adapted to what the family needs most at the time.
Working with multidisciplinary teams
Joined-up care is often key, particularly in neurorehabilitation, case management, or complex mental and physical health needs. My input can include psychological formulation, joint assessments (for example mental capacity or autism), liaison with teams, and report writing. I am experienced in MDT working across health and legal contexts and welcome referrals that need collaborative input.
